On Wednesday 20th of November, from 5pm to 6pm, the training platform on Female Genital Mutilation End FGM E-Campus will be presented online to institutional and civil society entities interested in supporting it with the participation of Hafida Bachir, Gender Policy Advisor to the Belgian State Secretary for Gender Equality, Equal Opportunities and Diversity, and Vincent Briard, Senior Officer on Gender Violence at the Europe Regional Office of UNHCR.
End FGM E-Campus is a free e-learning platform in Italian, English and other languages. Created by AIDOS together with a consortium of expert associations on the topic, it provides practical knowledge to those working in various sectors to prevent and respond to FGM. Indeed, the E-Campus project aims to contribute to the prevention and response to FGM through strengthening the capacities of professionals and access to justice centered on the victim/survivor, providing quality, complete, holistic and interdisciplinary training for professionals who deal with people and communities affected by FGM.
