On the 12th of September, from 11:00 to 12:30 am, the End FGM E-Campus training platform on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) will be presented online with Dr. Jasmine Abdulcadir, a renowned obstetrician and gynecologist expert in Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). She directs the Gynecological and Obstetric Emergency Unit of the University Hospitals of Geneva and collaborates with the WHO and the Swiss Network on FGM.
The End FGM E-Campus is a free e-learning platform that will soon be available online in Italian, English and other languages. Created by a consortium of expert associations on the topic, of which AIDOS is part, it provides practical knowledge to those working in various sectors to prevent and respond to FGM. The E-Campus project aims at contributing to the prevention and response to FGM through strengthening the skills of professionals and access to justice centered on the victim/survivor, and through providing quality, complete, holistic and interdisciplinary training for professionals, who deal with people and communities affected by FGM.
The webinar will be in English, it will be available the Italian translation.
