This toolkit was produced in the framework of the MED-RES project (MEDiterranean Reception Systems’ Coordinated RESponse for People in Migration – PiM – Victims of SGBV). It aims to facilitate the task of support workers involved in the reception of refugees and asylum seekers and to provide practical tools for identifying cases of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), assessing the specific needs of those who have experienced it, strengthening supervision, creating a multi-sector network of services and an agreed path for handling cases to guarantee survivors an integrated supervision that is responsive to cultural and gender differences.
