September 26: “Your choice, zero obstacles” becomes a website | Aidos

September 26, launch event in Rome
‘Your choice, zero obstacles’ becomes even more accessible: the guide to free and informed abortion is now a website.

Two years ago, as part of the #IVGsenzaMA campaign, “Your choice, zero obstacles: a practical guide to free and informed abortion” was launched — a guide offering concrete solutions to the most common problems and barriers encountered in the process of voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG). It is a tool to respond to poor services, institutional neglect, and abuse, and to assert the rights of women and pregnant people.

The result of collective work by activists, legal experts, gynecologists, and anthropologists, the guide has been met with great success — a clear sign that it is a useful and accessible tool for those who intend to have an abortion, are currently undergoing the process, or have already done so, as well as for those who support this choice.

To ensure even greater accessibility and practicality, the guide is now becoming a website, which will be online on Friday, September 26. That same morning, a launch event will be held in Rome, featuring activists and professionals committed to abortion rights — an opportunity to discuss the legislative and real-world situation of abortion in Italy and beyond.

More details about the event will soon be published on Aidos’ website and social media channels.

The website and the event are part of a project coordinated by AIDOS and funded by the European Union through the International Planned Parenthood Federation European Network. The views expressed are solely the responsibility of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the European Union or IPPF EN.
