PRIVACY NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH EU REGULATION 2016/679
APPLICATIONS FOR VACANCIES
Aidos – Associazione Italiana Donne per lo Sviluppo ETS makes this notice available in compliance with the EU and Italian data protection legislation regarding the data processing of candidates for vacancies applications.
1. Data controller

2. Purposes and lawful basis for processing
AIDOS will use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Personnel recruitment and selection
- Database archiving (CVs and contracts) for future personnel selection or administrative checks
- Personnel evaluation
The legal ground for processing “common” personal data for the aforementioned purposes is represented by the execution of pre-contractual measures upon the data subject’s request (Art. 6, par. 1, lett. b) of GDPR).
3. Personal data
For the aforementioned purposes, AIDOS will process “common” personal data (e.g. name, surname, contacts, data on educational and professional career).
4. Methods of data collection and storage
Data are collected and stored in hard copy format and/or digital format. Adequate security measures are implemented to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, or unauthorised access.
5. Storage period
AIDOS will store your personal data for no more than 24 (twenty-four) months from their collection (the “Storage Period”). At the end of the Storage Period, the personal data of candidates will be deleted, unless there are further legitimate interests of the data controller and/or law obligations that make their storage necessary, pre-minimization.
6. Provision of data and consequences in case of refusal
The provision of personal data by the data subject through an application is necessary for the selection process. Therefore, the refusal to provide the aforementioned personal data, may result in the impossibility to carry on the selection and evaluation process of applications.
7. Recipients
Exclusively for the purposes specified above, AIDOS may disclose your personal data to the following recipients:
- Internal employees authorised to process personal data because of their role;
- Companies that carries out activities of management and maintenance of electronic communications equipment (website included) and its related consequent obligations, on behalf of AIDOS;
- Companies, consultants, and professionals who operates on behalf of AIDOS for the aforementioned purposes.
8. Transfers of personal data to a third country and/or an international organisation
For needs strictly related to the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes (e.g. applications for a position in a third country), some of your personal data may be transferred to countries and/or organisations outside the EU. The legal ground for lawful data transfers for the above mentioned purposes is represented by the execution of pre-contractual measures upon the data subject’s request (Art. 6, par. 1, lett. b) of GDPR).
9. Rights of data subjects
Data subjects have the right to ask the controller to have access to their personal data, to rectify, delete them. Data subjects have the right to restriction of processing, if the conditions are met, and have the right to data portability.
To exercise their rights, data subjects can contact the data controller at the contacts mentioned in point 1 of this document.
Where applicable, data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority for data protection
(www.garanteprivacy.it).
