While countries such as Spain and Italy show relatively high growth in the agri-food sector, albeit with low female participation, agricultural activity in Tunisia and Palestine is less developed and with a female low employment rate. The areas where the project is implemented have been identified as suitable for the implementation and growth of a sustainable model in the agri-food sector, balancing tradition and innovation in favor of community development at the local level.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">GOALS<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>General objective:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Promotion of social inclusion and fight against poverty<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Specific objective<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>Support and strengthening female employment and business capacity in the agri-food sector<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>ACTIVITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of a training model based on the Rural Social Innovation (RSI) and tailored according to the specific drivers, barriers and needs identified in the four different regions involved<\/li>\n<li><strong>Training and mentoring <\/strong>programs aimed at providing skills required in the labour market<\/li>\n<li>Employment and self-entrepreneurship<strong> support initiatives<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Awareness-raising campaigns <\/strong>on gender discrimination in the labour market<\/li>\n<li><strong>E-learning platform <\/strong>for training course participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>BENEFICIAIRES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>140 women<\/strong> (35 from each country) will be trained in skills to improve their ability to find a job or become entrepreneurs. 80% of the training participants are expected to find a job at the end of the activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">AIDOS ACTIVITIES<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>AIDOS is an associate member sharing its experience acquired in similar projects and initiatives and contributing to the implementation and dissemination of communication and training activities<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">WHEN<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>25 December 2019 \u2013 24 December 2022<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">COST OF THE PROJECT<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>\u20ac 2,8 million<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">WHO IS FINANCING<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>European Union ( 87%);
